چکیده
Nos gustaría comenzar esta nueva etapa agradeciendo a Elsevier y al anterior equipo editorial su esfuerzo, su constancia y su contribución al desarrollo de la Enfermería desde que comenzaron su andadura en el año 2004. Sin duda, Enfermería Clínica ha brindando a los enfermeros y enfermeras la posibilidad de colaborar en un objetivo común: el avance de la profesión para poder ofrecer nuestra mejor respuesta a las necesidades de cuidados de la ciudadanía. En esta nueva etapa que ahora comenzamos como equipo editorial queremos retomar los compromisos anteriores e incorporar nuevos retos que marquen los logros a alcanzar para este próximo y ya actual ciclo de la revista. La nueva dirección hacia donde queremos fijar nuestro rumbo pasa por mantener el nivel y reconocimiento que hasta el momento se ha alcanzado para la revista en el ámbito de Ciencias de la Salud y avanzar en su proyección internacional y su localización en las principales bases de datos, retomando el objetivo final de su inclusión en el Science Citation Index(SCI). Entre los objetivos prioritarios nos proponemos impulsar la difusión y acercamiento de la revista a los distintos colectivos profesionales y entidades científicas, considerando sus propuestas para continuar mejorando.
